This is a technical selling role that requires skills to manage and deliver existing and new business through identifying key opportunities for growth and mutually rewarding relationships with clients, brand owners and fillers. The role also includes the responsibility to lead format education and development within the UK wine sector.
Be the person who has the most up to date insight on wine market, wine trends, wine format trends, wine drinker trends, wine shopper marketing, wine retailers and wine e-commerce.
Providing Bag in Box (BiB) technical expertise to wine fillers and brands along with forming a close working relationship with business’ BiB (Bags and Taps)
Support any significant BiB portfolio transfers within the market.
Instigate and support customer new product development initiatives.
Be responsible for the creation of BiB specific marketing (Connect Bag in Box, LinkedIn, etc.)
Represent the company at Wine events and support customer wine events.
Develop the customer service teams interface with wine customers (talk our wine customer language).
Build relationships with business’ Account Managers who service wine customers, find ways to support them and develop the BiB format.
Develop BiB sector specific Experience Cente programs for our customers.
Working with Central Team to gain access to market insight tools and share with our customers.
Key skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for:
Highly responsive customer focused approach.
Experience selling and developing packaging formats with sound technical thinking.
A Team player, confident and professional in approaching internal / external stakeholders.
Ability to work in a demanding customer cantered role delivering against agreed deadlines, priorities and targets.
High work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products.
A will to provide exceptional levels of service to all customers and stakeholders.
Self-motivated, able to manage and deliver on agreed set objectives.
Ability to manage projects and communicate to both customers and the internal team effectively and with confidence.
Good negotiation as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The salary is competitive and negotiable based on candidate’s level of experience.
25 days per year of holiday plus statutory Bank Holidays.
