An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Futures Systems Coordinator to join the Student Futures Team.

As a Student Future Systems Coordinator, you will support our students with the platforms they need throughout their journey to enable them to take their next steps into the professional world.
You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across a wide range of student services departments, who are committed to supporting our students but will be aligned specifically to Student Futures.
Using your system experience, you will support with the key digital platforms (Symplicity and Abintegro) used by our students throughout their employability journey. In this role, you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to our students. You will have the chance to use your own initiative to look at how the journey can be improved and reported more accurately. You will take the lead on improving our digital support offering and the administration required to put this into practice.
As someone with the ability to analyse and interpret data, you will work with all teams across the department to ensure accuracy in recorded data and use this data to support our teams in reviewing and evaluating our service provision.
This role gives you the opportunity to provide evidence-based assessments of our services and how this impacts our students, graduates, and partner employers. Your support will assist our Student Futures Leadership team in their planning and decision-making to achieve our strategic goals.
You ll get to look beyond just the systems, data and the figures, to change processes and create new best practices in system usage and data capture; and get to do it at an establishment that offers modern facilities, cutting edge latest technology and all the space you ll need to excel – with our break-out spaces, fully connected meeting rooms, places to discuss projects or simply just to get to know talented people from all over the world!
What we will need from you
- Degree or relevant work experience
- Relevant work experience within a data analyst and/or a systems administrator role, working with a variety of systems (preferably Symplicity and/or Abintegro)
- The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Higher Education sector
- Ability to analyse and interpret large and complex data sets, sharing the results from this in user friendly and engaging ways and using this data to provide evidence-based assessments
- Experience of liaising with software providers and other departments to help solve technical problems
- Ability to develop relationships across your team and other departments to gain buy in for changes to process and new standards of best practice
- You will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise a high-volume workload

Salary: Grade 4 £27,929 – £33,314 per annum
