My client is a global leader in the development of EPOS and Mobile Payment software, looking for an experience Software Development Manager to lead a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality, market-making products that revolutionise how their clients do business. You will lead an experienced team to deliver easily-installed solutions that are both easy to use by customers, and commercially flexible to clients.

You will have comprehensive understanding of the SDLC with previous experience developing, ideally in C++, Source Control systems, development tools, and processes. While this will be a hands-off role in terms of development, you will take code reviews and source control while taking an active involvement in growing the development team and upskilling the team in terms of technical skills, and personal development.

Software Development Manager – Key Responsibilities:

• Daily management of the software development team
• Managing Code Reviews and Source Control
• Efficiency in coordination of Project tasks, goals and resources.
• Regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide timely progress updates on all concurrent projects.
• Active involvement in recruitment, performance appraisals and 1-2-1’s.
• Active involvement in team development in terms of technical skills and personal/career development.

Software Development Manager – Required Experience:

• Previous track record leading multi-discipline software development teams.
• Technical proficiency in C++, development tools, and source control.
• Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Previous background in Software Development and successful project delivery.
• Ability to develop team in personal and skill development.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
