Job Details:

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. This role will manage content across various platforms, engage with our online community, and analyse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the SaaS landscape and how to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to different customer segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy tailored to the SaaS industry, aligning with overall business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate engaging multimedia content (text, image, and video) specifically targeted at SaaS users and decision-makers for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and emerging channels.
  • Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with the online community to foster a positive brand experience, address inquiries, and provide customer support.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute targeted social media campaigns, including paid advertising, to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Leadership: Act as a leader managing internal and external resource by sharing relevant industry news, trends, and insights.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyse social media performance metrics, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights to optimise strategies and tactics.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices within the SaaS industry and leverage them to enhance our social media presence.

The successful applicant will have:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.

Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

Strong understanding of SaaS marketing principles, SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media KPIs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
