About the team

Building technology assets is one of our top priorities in Tech Central, and you will be part of a digital asset delivery pod at the heart of this. These pods are customer specific and you’ll build technology solutions in collaboration with other technical specialists including Agile Delivery Managers, Product Managers, Developer/s, Tester/s, Technical Architects as well as subject matter experts from wider Tech Central teams.

Skills and experience:

  • Proven extensive experience in product oriented development.

  • Have expert knowledge of product management tools and techniques and keep abreast of industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching successful products

  • Proven experience in managing a suite/portfolio of products

  • Strategic capability – sees bigger picture and underlying drivers

  • Clear leadership qualities, working proactively with others towards a common goal with the ability to navigate internal and external hurdles through change and risk

Key responsibilities

As Senior Product Manager, you’ll join our growing product management community and who will lead the team to deliver high value, world class products and services. Key responsibilities will include;

  • Defining the product vision and mission that delivers value based on the users and business needs, wants and demands.

  • Defining and maintaining the roadmap (strategy) for a portfolio of products, in line with wider strategic objectives. You’ll also work with the Product Managers to prioritise spending on what matters most to achieve the strategic goals and initiatives.

  • Driving the success of the products, collaborating with Product Managers working with the cross-functional teams that will be building and improving it.

  • Continued analysis, learning and measuring any internal/external factors that may have an impact on your product portfolio including seeking opportunities.

  • Being accountable for the full lifecycle of the products within the portfolio and its features from inception through to retirement.

  • Being the key point of contact for incident and problem management for the portfolio of products that they manage

  • Being accountable for financial management of the portfolio of products
