The Royal Trinity Hospice is the oldest hospice in the UK with over 100 years of experience providing compassionate palliative care.We provide free specialist palliative and end-of-life care for people living in Wandsworth and parts of Lambeth, Merton, Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Richmond.

An exciting opportunity has accordingly arisen for a Senior IT Support Technician to join our rapidly expanding charity for a 12-month, full-time fixed-term contract.

The Role

As a Senior IT Support Technician, you will ensure our IT services are delivered successfully whilst leading a team of IT Support Technicians.

Working across our organisation, you will support the IT Operations Manager and undertake a range of support activities such as backups, reporting and patching.

Additionally, you will ensure documentation is up-to-date and support an array of projects to enhance and future-proof our IT services.

About You

To be considered as a Senior IT Support Technician, you will need:

– Experience in a similar role in an IT team following ITIL processes and/ or practices
– Sound understanding of network and server infrastructure
– Knowledge of IT security software solutions
– Knowledge of various end-user computing hardware e.g. Laptops, PCs, Phones etc.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 OS
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AzureAD and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
– Working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Exchange and Active Directory
– The ability to work to SLAs and KPIs
– Excellent interpersonal skills, as you will need to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders

Experience of Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp would be desirable.
