Senior Front End Vue.js Developer, £55k to £65k DOE, Reading / Remote

Avanti Recruitment is currently partnering with an exciting technology company located in serene countryside just outside Reading.

Although the role is primarily remote, you’ll have the chance to visit our office or even a drone testing site on occasion.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Senior Front End Developer with vue.js experience to take charge of UI development and bring leadership to our development projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects like our cutting-edge Vue.js and Tailwind CSS implementations. You’ll also have exposure to Leaflet.js, mapping algorithms, Azure DevOps.

Location: Near Reading, RG7 (Remote with occasional office/drone site visits)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of user interfaces (UI) for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure UX design and research considerations are integrated into the development process.
• Work on projects using a mix of technologies including Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Utilise your leadership experience to guide and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline development and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Front End Developer.
• Strong expertise in Vue.js and ideally some proficiency in other tech such as Angular, React, Leaflet.js, Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with mapping and algorithm technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
