Job Details:

Due to rapid expansion our client has an exciting new role available for a Sales Support and Customer Aftercare Specialist to join the commercial division of this large Transportation Management Provider. The successful candidate will have some previous freight forwarding/sales support & customer service experience. The role is based in Colnbrook near Heathrow Airport. You should also have your own transport due to the location and a steady 5 year work history to be considered.

For the right candidate flexible (PT) hours will be considered, every day or 3 full days, all levels of experience considered pro-rata down on £28-35k DOE

Hybrid is also available 3 days Office/ 2 days WFH

Role Summary

We are looking for an organized, efficient Sales Support and Customer Aftercare Specialist to be responsible for administrative duties and assisting the Sales Department in gaining and retaining customers. The responsibilities of this role include tracking sales leads, leading and coordinating quotations, providing support to all Sales Representatives, and creating a better experience for all sales functions. A candidate that can ultimately support Management Projects whilst working collaboratively with the senior teams to support sales growth objectives, enabling Sales Strategy, support the delivery of excellence in customer service, performance, and value to our clients. Someone that can make analysis and review European Sales Representatives Clients network and spend on thorough analytical view. Objective analysis uncovering anomalies, spot trends and identify opportunities to reduce customer lead times.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Ability to manage the sales and logistics network life cycle:

  • Processing of New Sales Leads management reporting on Sales Leads successrate
  • Lead and execute Quotations to existing and prospective clients and monthly Quotation s success rate.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders and Sales Representatives to sell competitively to prospective and existing clients.
  • Follow Sales Support Quotation Procedures and Customer On-boarding aftercare.
  • Engage with overseas partners and local suppliers for pricing models. Drive buying cost down and selling costup.
  • Providing data and reports to assist Sales team engage in prospective customer
  • Provide a link between sales and operations with onboarding new accounts and customer retention
  • Understand Revenue Financial reporting and Productivity on a Monthly basis.
  • Managing the correspondence between Sales Representatives and their Clients. Provide data analysis on volume and revenue reports for Quarterly Business Review presentation.
  • Manage Customer onboarding and Aftercare relationships to enable future growth and upsell
  • Become an Expert in our business product and provide problem-solving solutions before they arise
  • Follows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product.


  • Ability and desire to learn specific sales service knowledge as is relates to the support of the Sales Team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Intermediate Excel, Powerbi
  • Strong organizational skills including demonstrated ability to effectively organize and prioritize workload and manage in a multi-task environment.
  • Actively work and support internal team mates to ensure a high level of performance across the entire organization while sharing ongoing process improvements.


  • Minimum of 2 years experience within logistics supply chain environment, strongly preferred.

  • Outstanding customer service skills with high energy, positivity, and customer centric attitude.
  • Always maintain a high level of professionalism along with extreme discretion with all information.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast pace / high volume work environment.

Salary guide £28 – £35k pro rata/DOE

Full-time Employment/ Part-time & Hybrid working options

– Basic 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday.

– Holiday entitlement 25 days/Company Private Healthcare scheme after 1 yrs service
