JOB DESCRIPTION: Sales Manager – Home Builders/Construction

Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for targeting the Major Home Builders throughout the UK, managing existing and developing new distributors and achieving company objectives by planning and contributing to budget discussions. You will be an Integral part of the sales team and will play a pivotal role as well as having influence on the growth of the UK Market

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Manager – Home Builders/Construction

As our Sales Manager, your key tasks will be to:
Achieve set monthly targets as determined by the company.
Create and develop lasting relationships with the UK’s House Builders and Distributors
Identify and target all builders merchants within the UK.
Provide accurate detailed monthly sales and SWOT reports to identify areas of opportunity and areas of threat to the business.
Be prepared to provide feedback on aspects of Sales and Marketing activity when requested.
Discuss bespoke opportunities with Internal colleagues.
Assist with other internal departments (e.g. Marketing, Operations) as required to ensure that customer issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Develop and maintain an effective network of contacts and build relationships at all levels of the organization internally and externally. Provide analysis on new or emerging markets within our sector.
Maintain regular contact with customers to optimise the selling potential and retain our existing customer portfolio.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Manager – Home Builders/Construction

We are interested in hearing from career minded experienced sales professionals with a background of selling products into the Home Builders or Builders Merchants
We are not after specific products, but we would be particularly interested if you have any knowledge of the insulation products or sector.
You will be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
Ambitious, credible, and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, well presented and business like.
