The Role

This role is working with Minster part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

Our ambitious Minster team in Hullare looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sales Executive who prides themselves on delivering first class service and who aspires to really make a difference.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for contributing and exceeding customer expectations whilst supporting achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling products.

A Sales Executive is an essential role within the branch network, you will have the opportunity to experience a bit of everything from working in the branch. This role has a strong focus on sales & customer service, so it is great for someone who loves to build relationships with customers both face to face and over the phone and thrives on driving sales and hitting targets.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am-5.00pm

What will I be doing?

  • Generating sales with new and existing customers
  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Minster values
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Dealing with lapsed accounts
  • Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
