Location: Field based, covering South and West Yorkshire.
Salary: Competitive basic salary + commission.

Over the last 30 years Cam has become Yorkshire s complete materials handling partner and are the appointed TCM Forklift dealer for the South and West Yorkshire areas. Due to our expansion plans we are looking to recruit an ambitious Area Sales Executive to help grow the business and further enhance our services.

About the role

Excellent role on offer for a self-motivated, ambitious and proven technical sales advisor looking to join a progressive company. The role will have an element of account management as well as the need to proactively develop new business opportunities with the sale of a wide portfolio of material handling products and services.

Liaising with our preferred finance partners you will be involved in selling capital equipment via lease purchase and contract hire as well as outright purchase.

Key Responsibilities:

• B2B Sales
• Prospect new business introducing the TCM Forklift product range and other various materials handling/warehouse solutions from our extensive portfolio
• Account management/maintain and build on current business relationships
• Conduct site surveys and recommend the best solution
• Provide quotations based on recommended solutions
• Demonstrate products to customers where required
• Achieve and exceed sales targets/KPIs
• Operate to a high standard of professionalism that is expected of all CAM staff

Key Skills/Experience:

• A proven background in B2B sales
• A proven track record in a similar field-based role would be advantageous
• Ideally have experience of selling into a technical field
• Capital equipment or solution-based sales experience would be an advantage although not essential; however a clear understanding of high value sales of products and services in a B2B environment with an ability to engage customers in this field is an absolute necessity
• Must be a new business generator, driven by a desire to exceed expectations
• Must have a full clean driving license
• Be able to demonstrate a structured approach to sales and territory management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability and self-confidence to be able to communicate at all levels in a B2B environment from equipment operator to MD level
• Self-discipline in the completion of sales reporting information to monitor and measure self-performance in key areas of the sales function and subsequently demonstrate continual improvement and contribution to the sales efforts of the Company
