We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Paddock Wood a full-time, permanent basis.

Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Salary £23,000 – £25,000 pa

Job Description

As a Sales Administrator you will support the Sales and Key Account Management team with regard to all administrative functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to enable the business to provide outstanding supply of supply chain Solutions and service.

You will also be responsible for day to day management of the workload of the administration within the function, ensuring all issues are dealt with in a timely manner.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Sales with data comparisons as required and customer profitability analysis
  • Support in production of accurate KPI s to be published weekly for all key customers
  • Produce accurate proposal documents for sending to customers/new potential customers
  • Keep the business development files updated with all relevant data
  • Assist with presentations updating with key information as required
  • Gather weekly information from Key account managers/GMs across the Fowler Welch network regarding sales opportunities and any other details pertaining to existing customers
  • Ensure weekly pipeline report is accurate and produced on time for weekly calls
  • Inputting data to assist with pricing models for new rates

Qualifications

  • GCSE level education or equivalent – including Math s
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Customer understanding and customer focused
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work
  • Resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles
  • Influencing skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised

  • Be able to work as part of a team

It would be desirable if you had an experience within the Logistics industry.
