The Company:
If you are a proven Account Manager and Business Development specialist within a technical engineering environment, we would be VERY interested in hearing from you. You will be developing long term relationships and sales pipelines with OEM customers within the aerospace, aviation, automotive and industrial sectors. So experience within these market sectors, and involvement in a ‘technical sell’ are imperative.

Job Responsibilities:

To develop new profitable business opportunities through the production and execution of effective campaign and visit plans.
To make regular updates of leads, projects and customer contracts within the sales information system.
To project manage the launch of new business and prototypes. To check costings and prepare quotations and tenders for accuracy prior to submission to the customer and negotiate with customer to gain business.
To manage the resolution of any customer concerns for example delivery and quality issues.
To organize, attend and record regular customer meetings involving travel mainly in Europe.
To generate sales forecasts and budgets.
To monitor and report on performance against forecast, investigating any discrepancies that occur.
Developing and maintaining a customer database of product information.Preferred Skills:

It is necessary for applicants to have a good knowledge base in mechanical engineering in order to understand our product and the market potentials. This knowledge may be from further educational studies or from previous work experience with a technical product.
The ability to demonstrate a proven successful track record of a similar role for a technical product
Experience of large organisations with multiple sites and stakeholders.
The ability to build strong business relationships, based on a good understanding of customer needs and a professional, positive approach
A sound understanding of sales business processes within a quality management system such as RFQ, PPAP etc combined with a good working knowledge of contract terms and conditions
Strong communication and influencing skills which ensure instant credibility and professionalism
Highly motivated self-starter with strong organisation skills and a flexible approach to tasks, with the ability to lead multiple projects concurrently
Competent in the use of spreadsheets and IT applications
Ability to conduct business travel mainly within Europe
