Research Executive – Media Broadcast
Salary up to £35K, experience dependent

The Research Executive (RE) will support the Research Director and wider Insights + Analytics team with regular reporting, data management will support a key EMEA territory – the UK, including the analysis, interpretation and presentation of ratings, viewer and market information.
Your duties will include, but not be liminited to:
Work with all functions within dedicated channel brand teams – programming, acquisitions, scheduling, marketing, digital, commercial / sales, creative) to provide up to date information and insight on channel performance
Regular tracking of channel performance against set commercial KPIs
Manage a wide range of research analysis requests (e.g. programme & channel performance, audience profile, competitor analysis, market trends)
Use multiple data sources to analyse, interpret and make clear and concise recommendations to the business on growth opportunities
Commission ad hoc projects as and when required – manage these projects end to end, delivering on time and on budget
Performance analysis and preparation of presentations for Board meetings, Platform (re)negotiations, Monthly management meetings and A+E partner meetings
Work closely with researchers in local markets to understand market trends and global channel performance
Update and maintain databases to support regular reporting – performance tracking for key A+E series, 3rd party titles and UK commissions.
Utilising all available data sources (internal and 3rd party) to make ratings projections and forecasts for channels and programmes
Present data in a meaningful and engaging way to stakeholders of all levels
Line management – responsible for a junior researcher, who will require active management and development
Please note that while this role will focus on the UK, the successful candidate may be required to work on other AETN UK channel brands and markets as and when neede
Previous experience within media / broadcast research
Advanced user of Excel & Powerpoint
Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI an advantage
Good working knowledge of industry standard tools, such as Advantedge
Ability to write clear, informative reports, with proven presentation skills for a variety of audiences
Experience managing multiple projects for multiple stakeholders, with the ability to prioritise and manage expectations across the organisation
