$15bn Global Industrial Group requires an ambitious and experienced Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager with a background in NDT to develop their distributor base and key account sales, across a range of markets, but in particular Oil & Gas, Automotive and Aerospace across the UK. BASIC SALARY: £52,500 – £57,500 BENEFITS: Bonus Company Car Pension LOCATION: Bristol COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Swindon, Oxford, Birmingham, Cardiff, Exeter, Swansea, Worcester JOB DESCRIPTION: Regional Sales Manager – UK & Ireland – NDT (non destructive testing) For the role of Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition, support and further development of new and existing customers and key distributors within the United Kingdom and Ireland. You will work closely with our inside sales and marketing teams and with sales management to achieve significant revenue growth in these territories. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Regional Sales Manager – UK & Ireland – NDT (non destructive testing) A more detailed brief will be made available to those who are shortlisted but in short, as part of the European sales team, you will: Be responsible for value added selling to key customers and distributors, acting as a trusted advisor and partner. Develop and execute strategies to create organic growth in assigned territories working with our inside sales, marketing and sales management. Sell consumable products and accessories offered as well as capital equipment with the help of Product Management and the rest of the team. Increase knowledge of Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Applications for consultative selling with key accounts and distributors. Develop or enhance sales capabilities through continuing education seminars and/or programs. Meet and exceed quarterly and annual Sales targets across assigned territories, both in Consumables, Accessories and Capital Equipment. Manage existing key accounts and distributors Identify and acquire new key accounts and distributors in assigned territories. Customer visits / contacts according to agreed-upon goals and objectives. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Regional Sales Manager – UK & Ireland- NDT We would be delighted to receive applications from individuals who meet the following brief: Chemical or consumables sales experience and / or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) experience is highly preferred. Ideally qualified to degree level within business, engineering or a related field preferred. Demonstrable key account management experience. Execute a strategic sales hunter mindset combined with excellent account management. Demonstrate a solid track record of achieving successful sales growth within Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Aerospace or Automotive Industries. Strong communication and influencing skills to communicate value propositions at all levels within key accounts or distributors. Experience in the European Aerospace or Automotive Industry would be of great interest You are results oriented, self-organized and self-motivated, as well as highly reliable. Your colleagues appreciate you as open-minded, team-oriented, self-confident and assertive. Attitude is critical. Your positive, optimistic, energetic and hands on attitude should be an inspiration to customers and peers. You must be able and eager to travel freely within assigned territory (including overnight travel) a minimum of 50% of the time. Additional travel may be required depending on business requirements.
