Job Details:

Salary 30,000 – 50,000 GBP per year

Requirements:

– Proven experience of and ability to program using Progress 4GL tools and environment
Experience and a good understanding of Databases,
Excellent PC skills, understanding of PC networks and confidence with using Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft family products
Customer Service Skills
Permission to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

– Monitor incoming errors and ensure these are investigated and resolved within the agreed SLA
Design, create and implement new features to be used within the system
Pro-actively recommend/develop areas that provide improvements
Carry out thorough testing and desk checking to ensure a Right First Time result is achieved
Ensuring that service level agreements are not only met but exceeded where possible.
Work closely with all members of all the team to design test and implement new development and resolve any errors that may be encountered.
Support other members of the Development & Implementation team sharing knowledge and experience to improve performance.
Actively participate in open discussions when required
