These innovative solutions provide opportunities for exceptionally highly talented individuals to contribute to the success of this transition where you will be working with some of the best people in the industry working on new and ground-breaking initiatives utilising the very latest technology.Job Description:The extended team focuses on Oil Market Analysis. We build complex data products around the fundamentals of the oil market that provides innovative and often industry first insight that supports our commodities trading business. We are hiring a product business analyst to join our team who champions the key attributes of the business priorities and works alongside the trading community to drive business outcomes. Builds effective working relationships to understand business drivers and how to create and enable significant business value.Responsibilities:• Plays a prominent role in the end-to-end delivery of product features seamlessly by driving product discovery, ideation, and delivery in a very dynamic environment.• Precisely capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, including security, usability, data, and supportability considerations.• Create clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information; keep updated to align with the solution over the feature lifecycle.• Describe technology in terms easily understood by the trading community and business concepts easily understood by the product team.• Work closely with stakeholders to build trust and understand their goals, motivations, pain-points, and current business processes.• Understand and conduct qualitative user research methods (e.g. user interviews, prototype testing).• Translating research findings into actionable insights the product team can leverage to build more impactful solutions.• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and unlocks value for our users.• Performing user acceptance testing and guiding business stakeholders when required.• Leading ongoing reviews of business and team processes and developing operational improvements.• Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to the product team.• Seek guidance from the Product Line community where needed and be open to learning on-the-job.Skills & Requirements:• Ability to take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving and pay close attention to detail.• Good understanding and experience of a variety of Agile frameworks in a product team (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are required.• Strong analytical skills and comfortable working with data to make decisions.• Experience in user research and engagements.• Experience managing product backlogs and prioritisation.• Experience in Agile tooling (e.g. Azure Devops).• A history in successful product teams is preferred.• PowerBI skills is a good to have• Programming experience is a good to have (ideally in C#).This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
