Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Assist the network engineering team in the provision of new circuits
• Manage network installations, including rack & DWDM equipment mounting, commissioning, fiber, Ethernet etc
• Support, guide and train the existing NOC team
• Support 3rd-level technical escalations and troubleshoot related issues with internal or external customers
• Support planned network maintenance activities as well as occasional emergency works
• Ensure adherence to trouble ticket standards, from creation to resolution and closure, with daily monitoring of efficient ticket management and updates
• Prepare reports on weekly and monthly network/vendor performance

Qualifications:

• 4+ years relevant industry experience, ideally in Telecommunications
• Proficient with optical networks installions and technical facilities/troubleshooting
• Detailed understanding of SONET/OTN/SDH/DWDM and strong familiarity with OSI
• Submarine cable systems experience
• Strong knowledge of networking tech/protocols
• Previous experience with technical problem-solving on Layer 1/2/3 networks
