Your new company
We are currently working with a key Central Government client looking to bring in an experienced Network Engineer to aid their Infrastructure team with their Cisco networks. In this role you will play a crucial part in the delivery, implementation and maintenance of our client’s network infrastructure. You will work closely with project managers, network/infrastructure personal and stakeholders to deliver vital Network changes to agreed timelines and deliverables.
The right candidate will have the following experience:

• CCNP certification or equivalent level of technical expertise in Cisco networks.
• Proficiency with Cisco ISE or ClearPass for network access control and policy enforcement.
• Strong Cisco hardware, switching and routing experience in Datacenter and Enterprise Networks.
• Cisco ASR/ISR Routers
• Cisco Catalyst IOS-XE Switches
• Excellent experience and knowledge of networking protocols, standards and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Other experience:

• Experience working with networking automation tools (SolarWinds, ManageEngine).
• Experience working with scripting/programming languages (Python, JavaScript).
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or AZURE.
• Experience working within the public sector (ideal but not essential).
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
