We are looking for a new developer to join our team to help us improve and expand our existing cloud-based hospitality software platform. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting young company, experiencing real growth. The successful candidate will be effective working as part of a team or independently, will possess excellent problem solving and communication skills and will exhibit a positive, can-do attitude.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, build and implement new features and functionality.

  • Work closely with the support team to help identify and categorise bugs.

  • Follow the development process to resolve bugs and release any code changes.

  • Work collaboratively with third parties on any necessary integrations.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients, verbally and in writing.

  • Help mentor other team members.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience programming with C# .Net, adhering to OO principles.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience using .NET MVC Framework.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  • High level of competence writing SQL queries, procedures, functions and views ideally using MS SQL Server.

  • Significant experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Knockout JS, Angular, Vue JS, React or similar.

  • Experience using CSS Frameworks such as Bootstrap.

  • Experience using ORM Frameworks such as the Entity Framework.

  • Experience using Source Control such as GIT or Mercurial.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using TypeScript.

  • Understanding of advanced concepts such as Dependency Injection, Extension Methods and Lambda Expressions.

  • Experience of implementing Agile methodology.

  • Experience of building mobile applications.

  • Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) platforms such as TeamCity.

  • Experience working with Issue Tracking tools such as Jira or YouTrack.

  • Experience working with Azure IaaS or PaaS.

  • Design/UX/Creative aptitude.
