We do this by working with local partners (Local Authorities, Education, Health, the voluntary sector and the business community) and national organisations including Sport England.Our aim is to make sure every adult and child in Oxfordshire has an equal chance of an active life.The role:This newly developed role of Marketing and Events Co-ordinator will be critical in ensuring that we continue to tell our story in the most impactful and engaging way and will lead on the organisation of Active Oxfordshire events to enable us to build relationships with partners and communities going forward. Requirements: The successful candidate will need at least two years’ experience in a marketing and events role, where they will have developed an excellent working knowledge of creating social media content, managing events and have experience measuring and evaluating success for digital marketing and communication campaigns. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills are essential, as are strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a complex and varied workload. A passion for the positive role that physical, emotional and cognitive activity can play in developing people and communities would be welcomed. What we offer:Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 9 months to March 2023 with the possibility of an extensionHours: Full time, 40 hours per week. Part time applications of a minimum of 32 hours per week will be considered. Flexible and hybrid working options are available.Salary: £25-30,000 per annum pro rata, depending on experienceBenefits: generous holiday entitlement of 38 days per year (pro rata) and 10% employer contributory pension How to apply: Please refer to the job pack for further information.
