Learning and Development Business Partner Vacancy – Northwest / Greater Manchester – Up to £45,000 plus car allowance and great benefits

We are excited to be recruiting for a Learning and Development Business Partner to join the People Team at JW Lees Brewery. This new role will play a key part in enabling our people to be their best every day, driving commercial success and living and breathing all things hospitality. This role will be based at the Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Greater Manchester, with regular travel across the North West and North Wales.

Learning and Development Business Partner Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Head of People, working within the People team and alongside the Operations Team as a true business partner to identify & deliver training & development needs. Delivery of quality and engaging, professional learning solutions, courses, and workshops to meet the people, business, and brand objectives.
  • Lead the design of learning across a range of areas, including new tools, technology, process, product, cross-skilling, soft-skills, behaviours, and mind-sets
  • Work with the Area Managers, Heads of Department & General Managers to support their capability for leading change
  • Assist in the development, delivery and roll out of new products, promotions, technology, operational programmes, and procedures

Learning and Development Business Partner Person Specification:

  • At least 5 years experience in a hospitality or retail environment in the training function
  • CIPD qualified in Training & Development level 5 or 7
  • Excellent project management and co-ordination skills
  • Knowledge and experience of running online training platforms
  • Experience managing training budgets
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to impactfully share subject materials to larger groups, either face to face or online
  • Very strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Positive, enthusiastic & lively
  • Creative with the ability to continually improve with new ways of thinking and working
  • Customer focused and good awareness of team members and commercial business needs
  • Curious, questioning attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Skilled influencer at all levels, works through partnership and collaboration
  • Courage to constructively challenge
  • Ability to travel regionally is required, mobility is an essential requirement within the Northwest and North Wales
