Position: Learning and Development Assistant

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000

Location: Fylde

You might have a background in training, or maybe you ve had a customer focused operational role and you ve had to develop the skills of your own team?

At every touch point with their customers, our client aims to provide the best experience possible. And creating a unique and memorable experience for their customers is what makes them stand out from the rest.

Our client is now looking to bring in a brand new Learning and Development Assistant, to support goals of the organisation, and the staff who create the amazing experiences for their customers.

What are you going to be doing?

Once you ve got settled in you ll:

  • Take ownership of the induction – you ll be taking new staff on the journey of how the organisation provides the amazing service it does

  • Support the design and delivery of workshops to develop skills and behaviours

  • Develop a coaching and mentoring culture with the organisation

  • Work with management to develop hard and soft management skills

  • Manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)

Skills and experience needed

You ll be passionate about getting the best out of people – the organisation has a really strong learning culture, and aims to help people be their best selves in work.

You ll also be a confident speaker and communicator – once you ve found your feet, you ll be leading on the induction and training sessions.

You ll have fantastic analytical and problem solving skills – you ll be working with key managers and heads of departments around the organisation, to analyse their challenges and put into place robust development plans.

You ll also have a keen interest in learning styles and current learning methods, you might even have a CIPD in Learning & Development (desirable).
