Our HR Team operates as part of our Corporate Services Team providing comprehensive human resources support to Groundwork NE & Cumbria and Groundwork South and North Tyneside.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to become part of a busy HR Team. You will work with the Head of HR to provide a comprehensive human resource service providing expert advice and support on all stages of the employee lifecycle and associated policies and procedure including performance management, wellbeing, absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, and restructure. You will provide coaching and training to managers to develop skills and practice in people management whilst overseeing a busy recruitment schedule.

This role is subject to a Basic Disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service

A bit about you

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HR generalist with extensive experience in providing HR advice and support on a range of HR matters and familiar with coordinating effective recruitment campaigns. Proactive and organised you ll be comfortable with prioritising your work programme to meet deadlines. With an up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice, you ll thrive working in a busy and friendly environment where everyone pulls together. Having excellent interpersonal and communication skills you ll be able to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders, engaging and motivating people to reach effective solutions.
