Job Details:

Industry leading corporation, with sites across the UK, are looking to recruit a Head of IT to Oversee the effective and efficient operation of the IT department. This will include ensuring that IT services are aligned with business operations and maintaining budget responsibility for IT operational and capital expenditure.As Head of IT, you will be managing an IT team of up to 10, with the following main responsibilities: Management of external IT support contracts Management and forecast of IT expenditure and budgeting Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders for IT development projects Maintain and align IT strategy in line with business requirements Ensure effective provision of data backup and disaster recovery services Ensure effective delivery of the following serviceso Data network infrastructure (LAN and WAN)o Network authentication and securityo Data centres and storageo Business applicationso Operational real time systemso User desktop provisiono Fixed and mobile telephony Monthly management reporting Oversee regular Cyber Security Reviews and penetration testingAs an ideal candidate, you will be a highly experienced IT Manager, with a proven track record in service delivery. You will have experience of Cloud architectures and management (MS Azure preferred) including FinOps and good experience within Cyber Security. In addition you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to relate technical issues to non-technical colleagues, up to Board level.The role is hybrid, with at least 2 days in the office and offers a seasoned professional a great opportunity to further their career, with a profitable and expanding Business.
