Are you and experience Head of Brand / Senior Brand Marketing Manager looking for a new challenge? Want to join a growing business with family values at the heart?

As part of our expansion at Pavers, we are looking for a Head of Brand Marketing to join and lead our growing Brand Marketing team at our Head Office in York on a full-time basis (39.5 hours per week). We are looking for passionate and well organised marketeer who can manage multi-channel brand marketing activity for the Pavers Shoes, Jones Bootmaker, Easyfit and (url removed) brands.

We offer flexible start and end times to the working day; core office hours are (phone number removed)pm and some hybrid working can be considered.

This is a newly created role that will own everything brand, building a brand strategy and setting the direction for how our brands are perceived. You’ll have the support of a Brand Marketing Consultant with 4 years experience working across our brand portfolio. You’ll join a growing team and an environment where there is a healthy balance of fun and hard work. You’ll lead a team of six marketeers driving the brand strategy and metrics including brand tracking to support major investments. Key Responsibilities of our Head of Brand Marketing:

Direct and deliver the Marketing & Campaign Strategy across all channels

Take overall responsibility for driving Marketing contributions from Brand partners to maximise exposure utilising the rate card across our on/offline brands and consumer touch points including digital channels, catalogues & store portfolio

Direct the PR strategy to maximise press coverage for all brands in print and digital media. Manage the monthly plan of communications and its execution by the PR Executive to agreed target coverage levels

Direct the Social Media strategy to ensure relevant and engaging content is produced and shared on all relevant channels including working with appropriate influencers and celebrities. Manage the Social Media Executive to plan the monthly activity by brand and channel and ensure KPI’s are hit across all platforms

Manage all written assets for each brand through the copywriting team, establishing an overall guardianship of brand tone of voice and language. Support department requirements across the business whilst ensuring all copy is engaging and delivered on time and to the highest quality

Work with the SEO team to ensure written content and PR activity is supporting SEO objectives and has alignment with the SEO strategy

Chair the weekly content meeting to ensure all Marketing, Direct & Brand team members are aligned with the weekly content priorities. Facilitate the ideas generation, planning, execution, and implementation of content for the UK and International markets based on trading calendars, trading conditions, catalogue landing dates, planned marketing activity etc to create a cohesive view of the brands concentrating on revenue generation

Manage the brand advertising activity; working with our selected agency and to the defined budget, generate effective advertising plans for each season and brand where appropriate. Ensure media choices reflect consumer insights and where possible track and refine activity to see continuous improvement

Work with the Creative team to ensure marketing content is delivered on time to all members of the brand Marketing team

Work with the Merchandising & Ecomm trading team to ensure the Marketing Calendars are implemented and planned 6 months in advance

Effectively manage the Brand Marketing team coaching and supporting the team in their delivery of marketing activity and their personal development

Work closely with the Brand Consultant to drive the brand strategy and metrics including brand tracking to support major investments and the day-to-day running of the department

Requirements to be our Head of Brand Marketing:

A multi-skilled marketeer with experience across Campaign Management, Advertising, PR, Social and Content creation

At least 5yrs experience working in a Brand Marketing capacity

Integrated Marketing experience with a focus on bottom line results is essential

Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to an ever-changing retail environment

Ability to work cross functionally with excellent communications skills

Proactive and supportive wider Marketing team member

Cultivate positive values and attitude within the team

Be able to demonstrate theoretical knowledge and the ability to change tack in an agile way, depending on the needs of the business

Pay & Benefits for our Head of Brand Marketing:

Salary: circa £50,000 depending on experience plus;
