Overview

A great opportunity has become available for a Graduate Account Manager to join the Sales & Marketing team of a well-established and respected software business based in Richmond, with associated training and consultancy solutions. This is a true customer support and renewals role, and you will be trained to manage accounts across the UK and internationally. The role is a mix of coordination and soft sales activity where you will be engaging existing contacts, developing joint promotional plans and events and maximising repeat sales activity. It involves UK trips to events c3-4 times a year and could offer some international trips as your experience grows – once or twice a year to Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, confident Graduate with a mature, professional attitude, looking for a sales-focused option without any cold-calling! Whilst you will have some natural customer support skills, you will receive full training in account management. Immediate start available.

Responsibilities

• Using account management skills to promote sales and training of products, primarily within the education sector

• Become a Brand Ambassador and source of knowledge, able to clearly articulate information to customers and partners

• Develop promotional marketing plans and regularly communicate these with international offices

• Considerable coordination of events and organising demonstrations for customers

• Maintain strong relationships and upselling additional products to current and previous clients

• Identifying new business opportunities and pitching proposals

Requirements

• At least a 2:1 Degree in an academic subject

• Excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills

• A solid foundation and interest in data research and statistics

• Ability to problem solve with ideas and creative thinking

• Commercially minded, mature, and influential

• Happy to work in the office 5 days a week

• Full driving licence preferred
