Description and Scope:

Unity is a popular framework for doing visualization on a variety of platforms. We have a shared Unity component for doing visualization of the surface of a 3D cellular grid.

This component talks to backend microservices in the cloud via RESTFul APIs to retrieve the data. We would like to add additional features to this component such as the ability of the user to be able to click on a particular cell on the grid and be shown relevant information.

Deliverables

Unity component development in the cloud
Unity component may need to be extended to retrieve additional data from backend microservices

You will be expected to learn about 3D visualization in the cloud and RESTful APIs

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Penultimate or Final year Bachelors / Masters student in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Oral and written communication skills in English
• Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity

Experience in the following areas would be highly desirable:

• 3D Visualization
• Unity
• C#
