Location: Derbyshire, United Kingdom
Employment Type: Permanent
Business Analyst for a major ERP project – 6 months initially £450 outside IR35 – remote with travel
Within this contract, we’re seeking a Business Analyst who’s experienced a major international ERP/JDE transformation initially for the next 6 months. You’ll be working with technical teams, business teams and third-party consultants to support the project’s delivery mechanism, following a structured approach to create business cases, gather requirements, create processes, perform gap analysis, conduct impact assessments, and develop functional requirements. Following this you’ll undertake data analysis and mapping for complex data migration activities, assisting in the support of testing phases by performing defect reviews and support the business during their training in the new IT systems.
Diving deeper, you’ll be producing key project documentation to support the successful delivery of the project and facilitating workshops to derive processes and business requirements. You’ll use the workshops to derive and quantify functional gaps between the As-Is and To-Be processes, feeding these back into the Project Leads and Managers to prioritise workstreams. You’ll work with the business team to identify changes in scope and manage these through prioritisation and change control processes. Lastly, you’ll perform data analysis and mapping for migration activities and work with the business and the test team to define acceptance criteria.
To gain this contract we need to know about your proven track record in a Business Analyst role, ideally delivering and integrating ERP systems. Within this we’d like you to have an excellent understanding of the application development lifecycle and change management and a knowledge of the end-to-end test lifecycle and coordination of testing activities. It’d be good if you understood data, mapping, migration and ETL activities including data load validations within an ERP project. This contract will require travel to the Nordics (travel restrictions pending) but can be performed remotely from within the U.K. This contract is for an initial 6 months however the project is planned for the next year and a half. Lastly it will be operated outside of IR35 at £450.
