As Digital Content Writer, you will be responsible for the creation of content for various campaigns and regular blog posts to expand the Company s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers and leads via social media.There will be a focus on driving high quality traffic to the website and associated landing pages, working with the Client Services team to position Midwich Ltd as the ‘intelligent distributor with customer experience at the heart of everything.You will be expected to work closely with the Digital Marketing Executives to implement A/B testing, tracking changes in the content the team produce and reporting this back to influence change and continuous improvement.You will liaise with the Product Management team to ensure that the content you produce is relevant, engaging and up to date for our vendors. This role requires a high level of creativity and attention to detail alongside project management skills, as you will be working closely with the Client Services team to ensure objectives are met and consistency is delivered across all platforms. Key Duties:– Create resources each month to drive leads, subscribers and awareness in line with campaigns (examples include eBooks, infographics, mini guides etc).- Create regular blogs supporting other projects to attract site visitors through search, social and email subscribers.- Project manage the creation and delivery of quarterly tech guides.- Curating SEO rich content to reach customers, influencers and other stakeholders.- Write and publish social copy across all channels.- Works with the Marketing Delivery Manager to assist in delivering the content calendar framework.- Support the Client Services team by working with the Digital Marketing Executives by engaging in blogs and discussion boards aligned to campaign objectives- Collaboration with the Design team, Client Services, Sales and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets strategy and campaign needs.- Stay up to date with current design and digital marketing trends, tools and best practices and showcases new ideas for content creation.- Works with the Digital Marketing Executives to monitor online feedback and respond accordingly.- Ability to write copy in a confident manner, with attention to grammar and style appropriate for different audiences.- Work with Marketing agencies and the Digital Designers to ensure that campaign objectives are met, and that the creation of your content meets your brief and is delivered to deadline.- Correct set up of the content so that tracking and analysis is measurable in line with campaign objectives.- Work with the Digital Marketing Associate to ensure all leads created through content are delivered to Sales and the conversion rates are tracked.- Responsible for working with the Digital Marketing Associate and Digital Designers to track and analyse key metrics, such as social analytics and Google Analytics to ensure the content being created is generating active engagement and community participation. The sharing of the results to the Marketing team for use in future vendor engagement is essential. Key Personal Qualities:– Team player- Excellent communicator- Strong influencer- Ability to work well under pressure- Attention to detail- Analytical- Good problem solver- Self-reliant and self-motivated- Flexibility and commitment Key Skills / Qualifications:– Degree educated or equivalent working experience.- Experience in producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-based knowledge – blogs, slide share, LinkedIn, Twitter.- Past experience building audiences online or offline.- Experience of working with Marketing agencies and writing directional briefs that ensure the outcome meets objectives.- Meeting objectives through proficient content marketing.- Excellent written and language skills.- Managing multi-integrated campaigns simultaneously and to deadline.- Track record of establishing clear ROI campaigns.- Dual minded approach – highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process driven and rely on data to make decisions.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Marketing team, so if you believe you have what it takes then apply now. It will be based at our head office in Diss, Norfolk, with a flexible hybrid working from home opportunity available, once the probationary period has been successfully completed. Our hybrid working approach allows employees to work three days from the office and two days from home if they wish to do so.
