Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Design Engineer to join one of the Sunday times Best Companies to work for, so you will have a huge exposure to a network of people where you will gain more knowledge and develop your career.

The Design Engineer – will be responsible for carrying our design development, drawing, validation and substantiation, trails, capturing the data, Putting it back into the system, standing up and delivering presentation to regulators.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to work within the Nuclear Environment which is highly regulated. Longevity guaranteed keeping you in work for the next 18 months as a minimum,

This position is predominantly home working but with an expectation to come onsite fulltime as per business needs

Requirements:

Maintain & promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security & quality and be a great team player.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislative documentation / standards associated with design engineering.

Application of knowledge to confirm designs are prepared which comply with relevant legislation, standards and requirements.

Mathcad

Mechanical engineering / HNC Qualifications

ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
