We’re excited to be working with a family run business who are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join their team!

Job Title: Customer Service Coordinator / Administrator

Location: Exeter

Full time: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm

Salary: £25,000 + a yearly bonus

Benefits: Free parking, company pension, holiday pay plus Bank Holidays, performance related bonus scheme.

The Company: Our client is highly successful family run and owned company specialising in local, National, European, and international furniture removals and storage with 3 depots across the Southwest.

The Role: This position will occupy a large role in our customer’s moving journey, ensuring they receive the assistance and information they require. Our client strives to provide a great working environment and culture for their small team and an excellent service for our customers whilst they’re navigating a big change in their lives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to and manage enquiries via phone call, email and sometimes in person.
  • Provide information to customers regarding our services.
  • Using internal systems to input and update customer information, filing and digitising of files.
  • Taking bookings, organising contracts and processing payments. Organising and understanding the required paperwork for UK, European and International removals/shipments to assist our Operations Team.
  • Collating paperwork pre and post removal for our operative crews.
  • Look after stationary stock and orders.
  • Large amount of customer service to ensure a friendly and efficient moving process.

Essential Skills

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must have a polite telephone manner.
  • Must be accurate with a good eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to look after a team of 2 to ensure all necessary tasks are undertaken.
