Customer Care Sales Advisor, Poole, UK – £25k 26k COMPANY U-Drive is a reputable family-owned vehicle rental company with over 40 years worth of history. THE ROLE As a Customer Care Sales Advisor at U-Drive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service while driving vehicle hire sales. Your responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries, generating quotes, and efficiently converting these inquiries into reservations. With your friendly and professional approach, you will contribute to the overall customer experience and support revenue growth through effective sales techniques. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILIIES Responsibilities include, although are not limited to the following: Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly and efficient manner, demonstrating professionalism and competence. Generate accurate quotes based on customer requirements and convert inquiries into reservations. Utilize internal systems to create and process vehicle bookings. Allocate reservations to the nearest or most suitable rental location. Advise customers on the most suitable vehicles for their needs. Upsell or down sell to maximize utilization for each vehicle group. Maximise revenue by promoting additional products. Enter customer information, sales orders, and payments accurately into the system. Process refunds via credit cards and online payment methods. Efficiently identify and route calls to other departments or extensions. Recognize sales leads that have potential for additional business generation. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate the following relevant skills and competencies: Possess a full clean UK driving license. Embrace a positive “Can Do” attitude. Demonstrate excellent telephone manners and strong communication skills. Effectively multitask, prioritize, and manage time. Exhibit problem-solving skills and take ownership of tasks. Show resilience in handling customer inquiries and complaints. REPORTING, LOCATION & TRAVEL This role reports to the Reservations Manager and will be based at our Head Office in Poole.
