Whilst you will primarily cover that area of the county, there will be an expectation for you to be mobile, willing and able to support the delivery of service across Warwickshire. This post is permanent.As a Children & Young People’s Caseworker you will be delivering support to young victims of crime, using appropriate service guidance and policy framework, both on a 1:1 basis and through the delivery of small group work sessions. You will develop and deliver innovative interventions to address the needs of children and young people, involving them in service design, delivery and evaluation. The role will also require you to develop good working relationships with partner agencies.You must have in depth knowledge, understanding and awareness of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime, domestic abuse and relationship abuse. You will have a proven track record of successfully delivering services for children and young people and successful youth engagement in a comparable role within a service-driven organisation, including knowledge of safeguarding issues relating to young people.Please see attached Job Description and Person Specification for further details.About Us:Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity providing a range of specialist services to people who have been affected by crime across England and Wales.
