Job Details:

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Customer Administrator to work on behalf of a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield.

While a lot of the work can be done remotely there will be some requirements to work in the office so being within a 30-mile radius of Sheffield will be a requirement.

Duties will include:

  • Processing financial support schemes
  • Administrating and approving Government grants for Hardship, Crisis & Isolation awards
  • Working on spreadsheets and various internal systems
  • Managing your own caseload
  • Offering support and advice on financial support
  • Directing customers to external partner as well as internal referrals

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be experienced within customer service
  • Have experience of dealing with difficult customers
  • Be confident in providing advice to customers
  • Have good decision-making skills
  • Be accurate and have good attention to detail
  • Have strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Work well as part of a larger team

The hourly rate for this role is £13.74 and the hours of work are full time from 8am to 6pm on a rota (37 hours per week).
