£35000 – £46000

Your new company
This Facilities Management business is in a position to add a .Net Developer to their well-established team. You’ll be based from their head office North of Salisbury so will require your own transport with free parking and flexible working hours to suit commuters, and the opportunity to work up to 4 days remote on average.
Your new role
You will be a highly motivated, innovative individual looking to progress within a secure and reputable organisation and technical team. Reporting to the Development Manager and Head of IT in turn the technical roles here are dynamic. You will perform a hands-on position, cutting your teeth on core projects to support their growth and joining the pathway to Senior/Lead roles which exist in the team.
It’s a Microsoft house so the role surrounds the .Net framework but you will have the opportunity to work with wider technologies including SharePoint, Microsoft Dynamics, Maximo, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence so knowledge in these areas or an interest in broadening your exposure will be a bonus. The organisation takes great pride in ensuring all their employees are given access to a full training program to ensure the teams skills remain current.
The team run Agile and you’ll be encouraged to reinforce and embed these practices. They want constant communication around a shared goal so you’ll follow the ‘technical vision’ as they ensure that the direction of travel for technology is correct.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will have gained an excellent level of experience covering application development across the full software lifecycle, preferably within a corporate environment.
Awareness / appreciation for Software Design/Architecture and technical leadership of .Net projects.
Interest in .Net 6, .Net Core, Blazor and other emerging Microsoft Technologies.
Comprehensive understanding of multiple databases including SQL Server.
A good understanding of TFS, TOGAF and Azure Cloud technologies.
Implementation of Agile practices and software design patterns used appropriately.
Industry recognised qualifications such as MCPD / Certified Scrum Master
Experience of working through a Digital Transformation programme.
Commercial exposure to SharePoint 2010/2013 / Maximo / BI / REST
Knowledge of Dependency Injection
