Are you someone who is passionate about bring in new business and building strong relationships?

At Saint Gobain Interior Solutions we are looking for Business Development Manager to work in our New Business Team helping to create strong relationships and pull through business by working collaboratively with Contractors and Distributors by managing self-generated project opportunities and lead-sharing, for the 3 main Technical Insulation markets – HVAC, Marine & Industry.

This Business Development Manager role will be a part of Business Development Team and is a field-based Business Development role covering our North region.

Saint Gobain Interior Solutions is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand’s, our purpose is to make the world a better home for all, by creating high performance drylining and insulation solutions that take care of people and the planet. We will do this with the expertise and know-how of British Gypsum and Isover.

This role is a remotely based role, however as it is field based you will require a Full UK Driving License as regular travel will be required as part of this role.

You will ideally be based in Northern England or the South of Scotland as you will be looking after our North region

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of working in a Business Development Manager role
  • Experience of selling to contractor’s and projects in the past is essential
  • A Full UK Driving License would be essential
  • Excellent communication and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organisation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively generating new business leads and opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with our customers
  • Monitor, track and update the CRM system
  • Strengthening relationships with specialist sub-contractors
