One to One Recruitment are proudly working with Family Fund (Business Services) in York to find a passionate and enthusiastic Business Development Manager who wants to make a difference within this unique children s charity.
As the UK s leading fulfilment and grant administration provider, you will be offering an end-to-end procurement service to charities, housing associations & local authorities by ensuring distribution of practical support to people in need, efficiently and hassle-free. All profits are gifted back to Family Fund.
You will be researching, identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities, across existing and new sectors; making introductions to pre-existing and directly sourced opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Delivering the FFBS Business Development plan by generating new leads, managing client relationships and conducting client meetings and attending events.
Targeting new customers by phone, e-mail and in person, to generate new opportunities across public, private and not for profit sectors.
Delivering sales presentations & understanding the need to adapt style for the target audience.
Developing new accounts with Local Authorities, not for profit sector organisations (including housing associations) and other business customers in order to deliver current or new services.
Seeking out tender opportunities within relevant business sectors, supporting on the development of tenders, bids and proposals.
The successful Business Development Manager will have an excellent track record in executing business development plans to drive and develop growth as well as a track record of delivery and experience of project management. Ideally you will have experience in the voluntary or statutory sector.
You will also have:
Excellent influencing and presentation skills
Good networking and collaboration skills with the ability to account manage key stakeholders, contacts and relationship
