Are you an ambitious and results-oriented individual with a knack for building strong client relationships? We’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and spearhead our expansion efforts.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to foster business growth and expand our client base. Your focus will be on generating new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.

You’ll be selling our professional cleaning and support service packages to our prospective clients across various sectors. These prospects are based in offices, factories, retail premises, schools, colleges, hospitals, and public buildings sectors.

You will be selling a high standard of professional and commercial cleaning and support service packages that range from £40K – £250K in price.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities
  • Utilize sales data and industry trends to drive growth and improvement strategies
  • Proactively engage with potential clients to generate leads and opportunities
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to understand their needs and promote our services
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to prospective clients
  • Negotiate contract terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth contract implementation

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the cleaning or related service sector
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and communication skills
  • Ability to sell effectively and meet targets
  • Willingness to work from our Bedford office at least once a week
  • Drive to earn commission and exceed expectations
  • Ability to work 4 days in the field, meeting clients
