Primary Function of Position:

The Market Access & Customer Analytics Associate (MACA) will play a crucial role in helping Intuitive and its customers quantify the value of Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS). They will use their analytical skills, health economics knowledge, and strategic mindset to drive meaningful insights for Intuitive and its customers. This is a high-impact, hands-on, and cross-functional role that will collaborate with our sales, marketing, training, and finance teams across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer data from economic, profitability analyzes, program-benchmarking, procedure, and efficiency analyzes into meaningful strategic insights
  • Build robust analyses of Intuitive and customer data to identify strengths and areas of opportunity
  • Query large datasets using SQL, Tableau, Excel, or other tools
  • Serve as direct contact person for MACA data solution partners and data driven Intuitive projects
  • Provide clinical and economic insights to support commercial strategies lead by sales, marketing, and MACA teams across Europe
  • Assist the MACA team in developing, articulating, and defending strategy recommendations
  • Participate with cross functional teams to develop solutions to optimize care standards
  • Work as a customer facing project manager during the data abstracting and ingestion process
  • Work in a cross-functional analytics team comprised of several Intuitive departments


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of analytical experience
  • Healthcare Informatics and Data Systems experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred) and SQL
  • Ability to leverage PowerPoint to artfully craft a cohesive and impactful narrative
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with limited supervision
  • Aptitude to quickly understand causal relationships/cause and effect mapping
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize requests and deliver upon stakeholder expectations
  • Solid written and oral communication with a dedicated customer orientation
