Description and Scope:

We are in the search of a talented and enthusiastic Back-End Software Engineer intern to work in a small team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a new solution to help Oil and Gas operators to manage and reduce their methane emissions. You will work on a fast pace agile environment focusing on IoT backend technologies.

You will be challenged to find practical solutions to real industry challenges with the support of a team of experts. It’s a unique insight into the science, data, engineering, and more that are not only driving SLB, but also pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our industry.

Deliverables

Deliver contributions in the Methane Digital Platform team to improve and evolve the Continuous Monitoring Emission Products

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Penultimate or Final year Bachelors / Masters student in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Oral and written communication skills in English
• Good motivation, autonomy, teamwork, and ingenuity

Experience in the following areas would be highly desirable:

• Go
• Python
• Infrastructure as code
• Azure DevOps
