Agile Project Delivery Manager (largely remote)

James Adams is seeking an Agile Project Manager to join a global organisation with offices in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing project services team and work on a range of exciting technical projects.

The role:

  • Work with the Manager to set up and establish agile pipelines for Flex and Small Change
  • Accountable for managing agile pipelines, including managing required backlogs to ensure work is properly prioritised and appropriately sized
  • Work closely with the Business Analysts to capture and detail the requirements and refine them appropriately for inclusion in agile sprints
  • Partner with internal business stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve issues and bottlenecks and ensure that benefits are realised
  • Coordinate third-party development teams and the internal testing team to ensure that requirements are aligned across technologies and delivered holistically to business stakeholders
  • Facilitates sprint planning sessions, work allocation and solution delivery
  • Promotes continuous improvement by tracking and communicating delivery metrics such as velocity and throughput to the team, management and to any impacted stakeholders
  • Escalate risks, roadblocks and cross-team dependencies that are unresolvable by the team


  • Stakeholder management experience along with exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to understand and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Take a data-driven approach to all the work you do
  • Self-motivated and happy to work autonomously when required
  • Confident, logical problem solver with the ability to come up with practical solutions with excellent attention to detail
  • Technical background and extensive technical project delivery experience
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies


  • Energy industry experience, particularly in B2B
  • Agile qualifications, for example, Scrum Master or experience with other Agile methodologies such as DSDM, Kanban, EP

£67,500 plus bonus, healthcare,
