Job Title: Commercial Account Executive

Location: Peterborough

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

Insurance Industry Sectors: Insurance, Broking, Broker, Commercial

Lawes Consulting Group is currently working with an independent broker who are on the lookout for a New Business Account Executive.

This role has an existing book of business to take over alongside a book of prospects to follow up.

About the Role:

• Accountable for selling a range of insurance products and services to prospective clients
• Ability to take over an existing book of business as well as follow up a large amount of prospects.
• Ability to meet sales targets and generating revenue for the brokerage.
• Identify and research potential new business opportunities
• Phone potential clients and email to pitch the brokerage’s insurance products and services and arrange meetings with them.
• Be confident to effective sales presentations and negotiations
• Manage and develop relationships with clients
• Be confident to act as clients main point of contact and ensuring their needs are met.
• Create new business by upselling and cross-selling insurance products and services to existing clients.

Role Requirements:

• Our client are open to individuals with minimum of 2 – 4 years new business experience
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Good knowledge of the insurance industry and insurance products and services.
• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English
