Social Media Manager (Hotel Brand), Central London - £25,000 to £30,000


An expanding hotel brand who own a selection of Central London hotels are on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to join the team. They have a growing portfolio of high quality, fashionable, quirky hotels and are looking to expand and develop the hotel brands across social media, as such they are looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team.

 

The role will focus heavily on increasing engagement and brand building across social platforms for the hotels, this will involve identifying target markets and working to create high-quality content across multiple platforms. You will be the go-to on strategy and content creation, working across video, GIFs, photos and much more, creating social media stories and making sure new trends and techs are utilised to keep the social channels up to date and ahead of all competitors. You will get the chance to work across paid, owned and earned social strategies and will be expected to increase engagement for the hotels across social – for example utilising influencers, creating tone, involvement in events.

 

They are looking for someone highly creative who can show examples of content they have produced, ideally, candidates will be capable of taking photos, editing video, writing copy and utilising content in creative ways that will market the hotels in the best way possible. Candidates should have a passion for London, London life and the hospitality, travel and cultural scene in the city. The role will involve being heavily involved in hotel events and events in London that may link with target audiences making sure the hotels are well represented.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing, developing and maintaining high quality social media output across multiple channels
  • Identifying target markets and audiences
  • Experience across platforms – Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter
  • Planning content calendars
  • Producing content across video, photo, copy etc
  • Creating engaging content
  • Driving traffic towards websites
  • Keeping up to date with trends and tech
  • Reporting across social channels
  • Updates and tweaks to improve campaigns
  • Engage with community, deal with any issues, interact with guest’s posts
  • Support wider marketing team with all things social media
  • Paid social experience, advising on best practice
