Digital Marketing Manager, Central London - £28,000 to £30,000

 

An award-winning publisher are on the lookout for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the team and handle all marketing for a travel brand. The publisher owns a large range of successful titles and brands that are supported by digital content and events and as such need a creative, forward thinking Marketing Manager to join the team.

 

As Digital Marketing Manager you will take the lead on marketing campaigns and promotion for the brand, this could include working on digital content, e-newsletters, social media, search, traffic development and analytics, the publisher are happy for you to take the lead on strategy and market as you see fit, enabling the opportunity for a creative approach across digital marketing. The brand already has a well-established website in place, adding engaging, impactful content and making sure the site is up to date with features will be a key part of the role, candidates should have a passion for travel and an interest in uncovering hidden travel gems with the ability to create high-quality content that engages the target audience. The brand often work closely with travel companies ( hotels, agencies etc ) on commercial partnerships, as such relationship building, commercial acumen and the ability to spot new opportunities within the sector will be part of the role, enabling growth of the brand.

 

Candidates should come from a digital marketing background, experience creating content within the travel industry will be beneficial as will an understanding of target markets, industry trends and the style and type of content that creates the highest levels of engagement. Candidates will need to have worked across digital marketing with knowledge of multiple channels. Experience marketing publications would be beneficial.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Digital Marketing strategy and implementation
  • Promotion across email, social and online
  • Support and develop commercial partnerships and promotions
  • Spotting potential partnerships
  • Creation of digital content across multiple platforms ( web, social etc )
  • Maintaining web site
  • Promotion and management of affiliates
  • Development of new marketing channels
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends
  • Brand growth and development
  • Analysis and ongoing improvements

 

Requirements include

 

  • 1+ years experience as a Digital Marketing Manager
  • Multi-channel marketing experience
  • Ability to be hands-on with content creation
  • Google DFP
  • Basic HTML
  • Basic javascript
  • Video / photo editing
  • Google Analytics
  • Passion for travel
  • Previous publication marketing experience
