Java Software Developer

My client, a leading developer of social media monitoring tools, is seeking to recruit a Java developer to join their highly innovative and successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Java developer to join a fast growing and exciting organisation.

The role will require the successful candidate to first work within the Analysis team, analysing current products, diagnosing and fixing any problems and optimizing the way the software operates. Later the role will allow the candidate to move on to designing and implementing new software.
The role will suit a developer with the ability to find creative solutions to problems and the skill to turn ideas into production. You will be adaptable, intelligent and possess good communication skills.

Essential skills:
• A minimum 2.1 degree in computer science
• Solid Java programming skills
• Experience with Linux
• Good communication skills
