What you'll do:

As an Agile Delivery Lead in the Gaming tribe at Sky Betting and Gaming you will be focussed on the successful delivery of quality products using the most effective Lean and Agile techniques. Cross team and department communication is critical to delivery success and you will be at the forefront of making this happen.

Exceptional leadership skills will ensure that you are seen as a role model and able to influence teams with your knowledge and experience of delivery and Agile ways of working.

You will foster a continuous improvement culture and, through the use of data, the ability to "fail fast and cheaply" and learn from the experience. You will also be responsible for empowering your team and facilitating the delivery of high-quality products regularly, repeatedly and predictably through a focus on risk management, technical excellence, business value and the needs of the customer.

In addition, you will:

· Lead on the delivery of projects in an online commercial environment.

· Take a data driven and experimental approach to solving problems and investigating opportunities.

· Use the tools and data available to you to drive delivery, improve efficiency, understand and size initiatives and then track them via burnups charts, throughput and cycle times.

· Regularly report and analyse metrics and insight.

· Work with and manage multiple 3rd parties to ensure coordination and delivery.

From time to time, you will be expected to own and deliver other projects that are ongoing within the tribe.

How you'll do it:

· Take responsibility for end to end delivery of initiatives, managing external dependencies, issues and risks.

· Manage cross-team communication and coordination to ensure that dependencies are understood and well managed in order to deliver the end product successfully.

· Prevent, identify and proactively remove blockers to enable progress of the development team.

· Plan delivery timelines based on feedback and estimation from development teams and identify any potential disruptions before they become a problem.

· Run the delivery process within the squad and ensure the right ceremonies are in place. (Sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, retros etc).

· Evolve agile and lean techniques - developing the squad's scrum/kanban and lean ways of working to optimise delivery.

· Facilitate the inception and delivery of new initiatives outside of your usual team domain.

· Report to multiple stakeholders. It's important to ensure they are all aligned and expectations are well managed.

· Have lean process awareness and a continuous improvement mentality.

How we work:

· Approachability, open mindedness and an ability to work well with people at all levels of the business is at the heart of how we work.

· We are outcome focused with the ability to determine what adds value and what does not.

· Initiative, inquisitiveness and never being satisfied with the status-quo - always challenging the team and supporting them to be more efficient and advance their skills.

· Clear, concise and influential communication using insightful reports and raising issues to stakeholders and keeping them up to date on a regular basis.

· Confident and credible when working with senior executives.

Why should you work for us?

At Sky Betting & Gaming we don't have teams we have Tribes. Each Tribe is made up of small, agile and autonomous squads who work collaboratively with a shared purpose.

So whether you join our Bet Tribe, Early Careers Tribe or anything in between, you will work with a group of people with raw energy, natural talent, and the kind of spirit that helps us think big, act bold, and change the game.

It all means that we've created the kind of workplace that wins awards such as a place on the prestigious list of Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

We will consider remote working (with at least 50% of time being in the base office), part-time working and flexible hours to accommodate your personal circumstances, providing we can meet our business needs.

We also offer an attractive relocation package for candidates that live outside the Yorkshire region, including those outside the UK.
