At Sky Betting & Gaming we don't have Teams we have Tribes. Each Tribe is made up of small, agile and autonomous squads who work collaboratively with a shared purpose.

So whether you join our Bet Tribe, Early Careers Tribe or anything in between, you will work with a group of people with raw energy, natural talent, and the kind of spirit that helps us think big, act bold, and change the game.

It all means that we've created the kind of workplace that wins awards such as a place on the prestigious list of Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For.

What you will do…

  • As a Systems Engineer in the Enterprise Service tribe you will have key responsibility in delivering technical solutions for the organisation.
  • You will be delivering low level designs and implementing solutions for a vast array of cutting edge technologies. Leading system implementation on large scale projects within the tribe.
  • You will be capable of adeptly crossing between solid concepts clearly articulated within documents, to being hands on in order to bring these plans into life - with the deep technical knowledge necessary to back this up.
  • You will have your finger on the pulse of the latest infrastructure technologies (hardware, software, applications) and be forward looking and innovative - delivering on these ideas will also be a key characteristic of the right candidate.

How you will do it…

  • Produce low level designs and deliver solutions for complex demands and requirements.
  • You will have an excellent skillset in implementing and administrating multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux etc), hypervisors (VMWare) and cloud computing services (AWS, Azure).
  • The right candidate will have worked on large scale identity management platforms (AD, Azure) and have a great understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth).
  • You will look to automate processes with code, having expertise in scripting and programming languages.
  • You will have a proven ability to take and influence technical decisions in a fast paced, commercial environment.
  • You will have worked in environments where change control and release management are key to delivering quality.
  • You will be a great team worker and have the ability to adapt and grow to new challenges within the organisation.
  • You will have worked in a fast paced Agile environment.

How we work…

  • You will be a key team member working in a fast-paced, continually evolving environment building and developing cutting edge, market-leading products.
  • You will ensure the team remain focussed on the task-in-hand, understand and appreciate its value to the business and are shielded from outside distractions.

What can we offer you...

  • Empowerment to make decisions and shape the way we do testing in the team and across the wider testing community
  • A culture where you are free to experiment - if you make a convincing pitch - no-one is going to say "no"
  • A team that will support you even when things don't work - it's ok to fail as long as we learn
  • Flexible working with a competitive salary and a bonus scheme where we share in the company's success as a team

We will consider remote working (with at least 50% of time being in the base office), part-time working and flexible hours to accommodate your personal circumstances, providing we can meet our business needs.

We also offer an attractive relocation package for candidates that live outside the Yorkshire region, including those outside the UK.

Based in Yorkshire, we have grown to become one of the UK's leading online betting and gaming companies. A business driven by bleeding edge technology, that brings the excitement of sports betting, casino games, poker and bingo to over 200,000 customers a day & growing!

It's a workplace like no other, with a mission to make Betting & Gaming better.

And we want you to be part of it.

Our People Ambition is to attract & develop diverse & talented people to meet the current and future growth needs of SB&G. Together, our aim is to create the Best Digital Business to work at.
