This position is part of our Commercial Solutions business unit which is an international supplier of Cyber Security solutions into sectors of industry and government where security really matters. With over thirty years' experience of developing solutions for some of the most complex security problems; we have the necessary expertise to support our clients in identifying, understanding and mitigating the threats and challenges presented by the increasing importance of the cyberspace domain.
As a Threat Intelligence Consultant you will work with the Technical Intelligence Analysts to conduct research into attack vectors, attack groups on a sector or organisational basis in key sectors (e.g. Financial Services) and deliver Threat Intelligence reports and presentations for delivery to non-technical customers.
This is not a technical hands-on role, but a consulting analysis role in cyber threats and modes of attack, so a client focused attitude is key.
What we're looking for
Basic knowledge of Cyber Security, attacker motives, and an understanding of how attacks take place. A keen interest in cyber threats and their evolutions. The ability to review large amounts of data/information and pull out pertinent facts at high speed. A good understanding of the world's geopolitical environment. Basic data analysis skills e.g. the use of Excel for pivot tables and lookups.
Knowledge and experience of a threat intelligence function within an enterprise environment. CCTIM qualification. A background in Intelligence/Law enforcement. Hands on experience of handling/investigating cyber attacks. Experience in managing a clients/customers; providing a good service whilst delivering to contract.
