Are you a confident IT support candidate who has experience working to a 2nd line support level?

My client, based in Woking, Surrey is currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst to join their fantastic, market leading company on a permanent basis

The successful Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing 2nd line support to around 2000 users both remotely and deskside. Outstanding customer service and the ability to converse and build a rapport with all levels of the business will need to come as second nature in this position.

Key responsibilities for the Service Desk Analyst:

- Support a large user base solving technical issues to a 2nd line level
- Software, application, and infrastructure support
- Take ownership for the monitoring and management of IT incidents and requests to ensure their timely completion within agreed SLA and within customer expectations
- Technical documentation and administration of procedures and processes
- Troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft and Windows products

Key Skills for the Service Desk Analyst:

- IT support to a 2nd line level is essential
- Experience of Microsoft and Windows operating systems
- Remote and deskside support experience
- Excellent customer service skills proven within a service desk environment
- Technical documentation skills
- Self-motivated with commitment and drive
- Broad knowledge of IT topics / Good all-round IT Literacy
- Outstanding communication skills

This role is working Monday to Friday on a shift rota of 6:00am - 15:00pm and 15:00pm - 23:30pm.
